Inclusive Arts. Connected Communities. Creative Futures.

Welcome to the West Oxfordshire Performing Arts Foundation (WOXPAF) — where creativity meets community. We believe everyone deserves access to inspiring opportunities in speech, drama, and musical theatre. Through inclusive festivals, workshops, and partnerships, WOXPAF nurtures talent, celebrates diversity, and brings people together through the power of performance. We are a new charity looking forward to growing with the support of our community.

About WOXPAF

Bringing communities together through the power of performance.

The West Oxfordshire Performing Arts Foundation (WOXPAF) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to making high-quality performing arts education and experiences accessible to all. Rooted in the heart of West Oxfordshire, WOXPAF champions creativity, confidence, and community through speech, drama, and musical theatre.

Our flagship initiative—the Oxfordshire Festival of Speech, Drama & Musical Theatre—launches in 2026 and offers a professionally adjudicated platform for performers of all ages and backgrounds. Alongside the festival, we plan to deliver year-round workshops, masterclasses, and community showcases designed to nurture talent, celebrate diversity, and remove barriers to participation.

WOXPAF is committed to:

  • Advancing education in the performing arts through expert feedback and skill-building opportunities.
  • Promoting inclusion by offering subsidised entry fees, 'pay what you can afford' tickets, and accessible programming.
  • Fostering lifelong learning and creative expression for individuals of all ages and abilities.
  • Strengthening community ties by partnering with schools, arts organisations, and local venues.

We are awaiting approval by the Charity Commission as a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO). As such, WOXPAF operates with robust governance, safeguarding, and equality policies to ensure a safe, respectful, and inspiring environment for all. Our work is guided by the principles of public benefit, transparency, and cultural enrichment—building a legacy of opportunity for generations to come.

Our workshops offer inclusive, hands-on experiences in the performing arts—designed to build confidence, creativity, and communication skills. Led by experienced practitioners, these sessions are open to all ages and abilities, providing a supportive space to explore performance techniques, vocal care, improvisation, and more. Whether you're a beginner or looking to refine your craft, our workshops are a welcoming place to grow, connect, and express yourself.

Festival Preparation

The Oxfordshire Festival of Speech, Drama & Musical Theatre is WOXPAF’s flagship event—an inclusive, professionally adjudicated celebration of performance. Launching in 2026, the festival offers competitive and non-competitive classes for individuals, schools, and community groups across all ages and abilities. With a focus on accessibility, creativity, and community spirit, the festival provides a vibrant platform for participants to grow in confidence, receive expert feedback, and share their talents in a supportive environment.

Inclusive Programs

Inclusivity is at the heart of everything we do at WOXPAF. We are committed to creating a welcoming, respectful, and accessible environment where everyone—regardless of age, background, ability, or financial means—can participate fully in the performing arts. Through inclusive programming, financial support, and a strong focus on equality and diversity, we ensure that every voice has the opportunity to be heard and celebrated.

Creative Collaborations

Community connection is a core part of WOXPAF’s mission. We believe that the performing arts flourish when local groups come together to share ideas, collaborate on events, and support one another. That’s why we welcome schools, theatre companies, and arts organisations to get involved in our activities and initiatives. By connecting with WOXPAF, your group can be part of a vibrant, inclusive arts community—working together to make creative opportunities more accessible, impactful, and inspiring across West Oxfordshire.
